The team at Eastman Chemical in St. Gabriel, La proudly celebrates 11 years of OSHA Injury Free. They achieved this amazing milestone through hard work, dedication to working safely, and by embracing our Bsafe culture. Several Brock employees attended the 11th Annual YMCA John R. Blossman Humanitarian Charity Banquet honoring Becky Montgomery Jenner. Chris Scruggs, Brock Operations Manager, reflects on the evening by saying, “What a great inspiration, to acknowledge the engagement & development towards our community’s children, and seniors.”

We are proud to announce that Brock received the Innovations in Downstream – Productivity/Efficiency Improvement award for our 3D Scaffold Modeling for Turnarounds. Brock’s innovative use of 3D Modeling and related technologies has increased efficiency and accuracy of scaffold builds through pre-planning activities. We have applied this solution for multiple customers and have validated savings in both cost and time, ultimately delivering results that minimize facility maintenance and turnaround downtime. Gustav Backman and Lloyd Boyd represented Brock at the event.​​

We are proud to recognize Leonardo Rodriguez from the LyondellBasell Corpus Christi site for taking initiative and addressing a hazard that was identified during a walk through. Leonardo was walking on a permanent structure and noticed an area where the grating was unsecured. The area was safeguarded by Leonardo and he immediately notified safety and operations who secured the grating and preventing a potential injury. This is a prime example of our Bsafe and Bbest culture. Thank you, Leonardo!
