After a long and challenging process, the Brock Group is proud to announce that Brock Canada Field Services and Brock Canada Industrial Ltd. are now members of the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA).

Rope Access is an alternate access solution that allows crews to reach heights and confined areas using a secure, two-rope system. It requires less personnel to complete tasks in an efficient way, which in turn translates to minimal downtime, increased production and improved safety. In over 30 years since its inception, IRATA has become the leading authority in industrial rope access. IRATA International, a trade association of rope access professionals run by its members, has a continuously evolving library of work procedures.  Member companies are monitored for compliance to ensure that a safe system of work access is established and maintained. This sets its member companies apart from rope access companies that are not subject to such rigorous monitoring, controls and IRATA’s robust Training, Assessment and Certification Scheme.

Brock, with its own superb history of robust safe work practices, felt this membership was an appropriate step in our ongoing pursuit of continuous improvement. Rope access has grown to become an important component of the Brock Canada business as we benchmark ourselves to the highest possible standards when it comes to Rope Access safety.

Brock’s commitment to “Be Better Every Day” allows us to follow a standard of care and respect which defines who we are and how we operate in pursuing excellence in every aspect of our business. Brock’s Rope Access Service Line offers facility owners another proven safe, efficient and cost-effective method for executing maintenance, turnaround and capital projects.
