Brock received the Gulf Coast Safety Council’s (GCSC) Contractor’s Safety Excellence Award for specialty contractors at the GCSC annual awards banquet held April 28, 2014 in New Orleans, LA. The Contractor’s Safety Excellence Award honors contractors and owners that have achieved an outstanding record for safety performance with greater than 100,000 work hours. Nominated by the Shell/Motiva Manufacturing Complex in Norco, LA, Brock employees at that site have worked for 11 ½ years and more than 6.2 million work hours without a single record-able injury.

The Gulf Coast Safety Council provides high quality industrial education for plant personnel and contract workers. Since its inception, GCSC annually has trained approximately 22,000 workers in generic industrial safety orientation.
