The criteria for winning the Excellence Award is that first, the company must meet the criteria for Achievement Level. The company’s DAFW, DART and TRIR must be below the averages for the NWI Regional Contractor Community for the company’s NAICS code for the last three years. Any contractor receiving the Excellence Award and being a finalist for the Contractor of the Year award is subject to a random job site audit.
