The Brock Group, a Houston-based provider of mission critical services to the refining, petrochemical, power generation and other industries, announced today that American Industrial Partners (AIP) has acquired majority ownership of the company. AIP is a New York-based private equity firm that focuses on buying, improving and growing industrial businesses in the US and Canada. Through the transaction, a substantial new money investment has added meaningful liquidity and capital resources to the company’s balance sheet, putting Brock in the strongest financial position in recent history.
Brock Ranked Seventh in Houston Chronicle “Chron 100”
The Brock Group ranked seventh among private companies in the 2017 Chron 100, moving up two spaces from ninth in 2016. The Chronicle 100 is Houston Chronicle’s annual list of the leading public and private companies located in the Houston metro area.
Agrium Selects Brock for Scaffolding and Insulation Maintenance Services
Agrium, Inc., a major producer and distributor of agricultural products, recently selected The Brock Group to provide ongoing scaffolding and insulation maintenance services at Agrium facilities across Canada and the United States. Brock Canada, the company’s Canadian business unit, will provide a labor solution that delivers Agrium’s cost savings requirements while maintaining and enhancing service levels.
