PROJECT SCOPE
Construction of a New Nitrogen-Based Fertilizer Plant In Wever, Iowa.
DESIGN GOAL
The new fertilizer plant will produce between 1.5 and two million metric tons of ammonia, urea and urea ammonium nitrate (UAN) a year. It will also produce diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), which is used for reducing emissions in diesel engines.
PROJECT DETAILS
Providing Scaffolding in support of the construction of all ISBL’s equipment, Pipe-racks, Insulation, Electrical and miscellaneous activities for the Ammonia and Downstream sections of the project.
CREW SIZE & SCOPE
Began scaffold for Ammonia plant Pipe-racks in Feb 2014, full construction activities in August 2014
Average of 165 Carpenters to date with 225 Carpenters at peak working 6 – 10’s
324,000 scaffold pieces onsite at peak
QUALITY
Provide Q/C inspection and documentation for all scaffolding
Provide piece counts, Leg Feet, & Square Feet for all scaffolds
Work with Customer and EPC Q/A to ensure turnover packages completed properly
