The Brock Group was recently named one of the top specialty contractors by Engineering News Record (ENR). Published on October 26, 2015, Brock ranked fifth among the Top 600 Specialty Contractors, moving up one spot from sixth overall in 2014. Additionally, Brock ranked second among the Top 20 Firms in Painting and seventh among the Top 20 Firms in Asbestos Abatement.
Brock Places Billboards to Expand Recruiting Reach
To continue to meet demand for skilled craft driven by growth in project and maintenance activity, Brock has begun placing billboards in key recruiting areas. The first set of billboards are now visible in Baton Rouge, LA, Lake Charles, LA and Beaumont, TX, with additional boards scheduled for Corpus Christi, TX and Port Arthur, TX in November.
Brock Opens New Hiring Centers to Meet Project and Maintenance Activity Growth
As a result of continued growth in customers’ business needs and, subsequently, the company’s growing maintenance and project portfolio, The Brock Group has relocated and expanded multiple hiring centers across the U.S. Gulf Coast to specifically recruit and attract talent throughout the region. The new offices will continue to support Brock’s growth by enhancing presence in key locations and increasing efficiency of the recruiting, training, and staffing process. Facilities involved in this process include Baton Rouge, LA; Sulphur, LA; Deer Park, TX; and McAllen, TX.
Brock Honored by New Jersey Governor’s Occupational Safety and Health Awards Program
The New Jersey State Industrial Safety Committee announced that Brock Industrial Services has earned the Division of Public Safety & Occupational Safety & Health Award for two consecutive calendar years without lost time from a work-related injury or illness. Brock Industrial received the award based on strong safety performance at the Phillips 66 Bayway Refinery in Linden, NJ.
